My husband and I celebrated or Valentine's day tonight, since my hubby always has to work on that day. We reserved our table near the river view, as romantic a spot as we could request and asked for it to be private. They came through for us with flying colors and them some. Our server was attentive, our meal was savory, as well as delious and dessert was fantastic, I recommend the german chocolate ice cream. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, plus every night the menus change. How cool and adventureous is that. 😋😄

Hidden inside the International Center but well worth the trip. Be prepared for a bit of a pricey meal but the service, food, and ambiance makes it worth the ticket price. Meals were served fast, hot, and very well prepared. Great service! Great food! Great time!

Outstanding. Some of the best food I've ever had. The service was great and the atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend. My girlfriends and I had a lovely time. They also have an outstanding selection of bourbons that are difficult to find elsewhere.

Excellence would be the name of the game here folks. We started off with some delicious wild game packets that were unlike anything we’ve eaten before. My boyfriend loved digging in to the variety of table side breads. Our waiter, I think his name was Gabriel, was fantastic. He made some excellent reccomendations to enhance the plates, like adding the rack of lamb to my boyfriend’s plate. I had the bouillabaisse and everything on the plate was cooked to perfection. The mussels were delicate and delicious. The wine selection was also incredible! Our waiter really tied our experience together and we will definitely be back to try more.

Food is good, traditional southern food;Service is great, Bob is really nice and knows how to make kids happy and quiet during dinner. I was told Biga has really good river view but i don’t think based on my experience. Lastly, highly recommended if you visit SA.

Biga is a beast no joke. I stopped in on a business trip and loved it. The service and food were perfect. Definitely try and order a course meal if you go. I lucked out during restaurant month (August) and got an awesome deal. I'd recommend stopping in if you're on the riverwalk.

It was my first time going and definitely not my last. I was so wowed ever since I walked in and left. did not get no weird vibes of me not being welcomed like most high class restaurants are. my waitress was so knowledgeable of the entire menu, answered all of our crazy questions and even suggested a few great things to try. food and drinks where absolutely AMAZING and FRESH. thank you for a great experience. prices are worth it in my opinion.

Such good food and not unreasonably priced at all. Basically, everything here is good, so there's really no point to specifying, get this or get that. What is worth mentioning though is how cool their bar is. They have a bartenders choice option, and they did not disappoint. It was a great experience... From the food to the drinks to the ambiance.

May be its the restaurant month menu that took away the fizz, but otherwise the restaurant is amazing. May be we caught a waiter towards end of his shift and he might be tired. Switching to positives, the ambience is unbeatable. Got the 4 course meal and they offered a good selection of wine. Was offered a tasting before choosing what was needed for the evening. You cannot beat the experience of dining by the river walk and eating an amazing meal. I strongly recommend sitting outside than inside the restaurant, you can see the river walk and the tourists waving at you from the boats. The restaurant provides a full experience depending on your preference.

I was fortunate to stop by during Restaurant Week for dinner and had a lovely dining experience all around. The service was exceptional and the food was phenomenal. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The restaurant has a great location overlooking the river (some outdoor seating is available as well) and is beautiful. Metered parking nearby was easy to find and actually free because it was after 6pm. It was truly an exquisite experience!

Had our anniversary dinner here and the meal was fantastic. The service is second-to-none - shout out to Rob for making our experience memorable. The axis venison is mind-bogglingly good... like, it's almost spiritual.

We read a review that the Toffee Pudding at Biga on the Banks "should be had before you die." So we sat at the bar to give it a taste. It was certainly delicious, but we were equally impressed with the Riverwalk views in the Southwest chic dining room and the friendliness of the staff. Gourmet Magazine has named "Biga on the Banks" as one of the Top Five Restaurants in Texas! We are glad to get a sneak peek and look forward to making a reservation for a full course dinner!

Found this place on a search and decided to give it a try. If you're looking for upscale dining, served by a staff that is 2nd to none, this is your place. Chef has created a menu that is full of interesting twists - from asian flair, to Southwest flavors, we were blown away by it all! Will come back here as often as possible!

When looking good a place to eat on the Riverwalk, we wanted something that wasn't a tourist trap. Somewhere that truly cares about the service and food. We lucked out visiting this establishment this week during restaurant week! The menu was amazing. The food beyond delicious and perfectly prepared. The wine was perfect for a hot summer day, thanks to Casey our server. How recommendations were on point. Next time we visit, this is a must on our dining list.

Love this place. Ordered a few things off the menu while I was working before and have seen other delicious items while working here on their projects but I have never been a REAL customer. They are clients and offer a friendly staff and great food from what I have tasted. The menu is informative as for the dishes and the dishes are well made. I can't wait to stop by for a dinner reservation someday!

Redfish had a crispy exterior from pan fry and the roasted vegetables were an excellent side.The rack of lamb was perfectly cooked to medium rare and the accompanying feta grits paired perfectly.The atmosphere is amazing within and the service is top notch. Can't get better than this. I just wish they were open on Friday and Saturday so I could have tried them a second evening.

We enjoyed a lovely table for two by the window and were attended by an excellent wait staff. We started with champagne cocktails to celebrate our anniversary. My spouse had preplanned for a gift to be delivered to the table along with the cocktails. Voila, a perfect surprise! Our dinner selections were absolutely superb. Recommended without any hesitation.

AMAZING! The ambiance, service, food, etc... I can go on for days. We are from Houston and wanted some place with good food and atmosphere. This place exceeded our expectations by far. God has blessed the Chef's hands perfectly. And the mgr., waitstaff and the hosts were all wonderful. Thank you guys for a lovely experience.

Ingredients 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups white sugar 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 2 teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt   1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 4 eggs 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil 3 cups grated zucchini 3/4 cup chopped walnuts Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Add the eggs and oil, mix well. Fold in the nuts and zucchini until they are evenly distributed. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes in the preheated oven, until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool cake completely before frosting with your favorite frosting.
